Im bored to 440 hot cam stage 2 no port work pro circuit slip on and k&n filter without lid on box. Im buying new carb but dont want to buy 400ex carb if the 450r would be better its only about $50 more then the 400ex carb.

How is the main? Mods are a full sparks exhaust and no lid. Also on my old built 400 I had it drag ported/ti valves/450 carb /stage 2 hotcam/etc.. I prolly wouldn't use the Stg 2 with stock compression (not sure what it is but I think it's fairly low). Although I haven't tested that combo, you'll likely loosed too much.
