The Mercedes-Benz SSK was the fastest car in the world during its production run from 1928 - 1932. It was the last car to be designed by Ferdinand Porsche, before he went on to create his own company, winning plenty of races and being considered a masterclass of auto engineering. There were fewer than 40 SSKs made and only five survive today.
